Framed Scrolling is connected to the online exhibition Re|Search. My piece contextualize the online exhibition in a virtual gallery in which you are stuck on “rails” in an endless tour. The virtual space is filled with screens on which you can watch me scroll through different pieces from the online exhibition. This virtual exploration is a reflection on our relation with screens and space and how those can impact our perception of artworks. I wanted was to generate something pointless and cumbersome by how it aspires to present artworks which are now trimmed and distorted. Their integration in physical space disfavours how we consume the works which are web native. That said, please visit the “originals”.

Brouillant les pistes entre mondes physique et virtuel, baron lanteigne transpose l’exposition en ligne Re|Search dans un environnement tridimensionnel rappelant le cube blanc de la galerie. L’oeuvre se penche, non sans ironie, sur la mise en espace d’expositions ainsi que sur les conditions de réception des internautes. Elle prolonge en ce sens les intérêts de l’artiste concernant la participation en ligne et la spatialisation du Web.

défilement encadré entraîne l’internaute dans un parcours labyrinthique. Sans début ni fin réels et présentée en boucle, la vidéo crée l’illusion d’une exploration infinie et, par conséquent, un épuisement des images, des espaces et du sujet. Véritable mise en abyme, l’oeuvre offre un aperçu de l’exposition tout en évoquant la variabilité des expériences en ligne.
